The Cobram Campdraft Club is again running its annual Campdraft at Koonoomoo Recreation Reserve in 2017.

The club’s secretary, Kalynda Jorgensen, said the club wanted to give back to its supporters.

‘‘The club likes to give back to the community that supports them with the running and organising of their competition.

‘‘This year the club members have decided to choose two of their wonderful cattle donors to select who would receive a donation.

‘‘The Walpole family and the Lukies family are both a great support to the club as they donate their cattle for the campdraft club to use over the weekend; this is the club’s way of thanking them for their generosity,’’ she said.

‘‘The Yalca CFA and the Katamitite CFA were both chosen to receive a cheque for $500.’’

The Cobram Campdraft will be held from March 24 to 26 this year and entry is free for spectators.
