Cobram police are appealing to the public for urgent assistance to help locate a stolen three-month-old alpaca named Spice.

Spice was taken from Hancocks Bridge Rd in Kotupna about 2pm last Wednesday.

A matte-black VT or VX Commodore was seen in the area about the same time.

Spice is described as caramel in colour with a white face. He is friendly towards humans as he has been bottle-fed a special formula since his mother died.

Spice is small enough that he could easily be put in a car.

■Anyone with information regarding Spice’s whereabouts or the black car is urged to phone Senior Constable Tania Monaghan at Cobram Police Criminal Investigation Unit on 58711977.
