Madi Bryant placed 4th in the B-grade rider event.

The North Eastern Zone of the Pony Club Association of Victoria had a weekend to remember earlier this month, with success at the PCAV State Championships at Gladysdale.

Six teams, comprising 17 riders and 18 horses, featured in all six classes — three dressage and three showjumping.

The competing riders had to qualify in a series of events starting in August at Wodonga and finishing in January at Euroa.

The North Eastern Zone finished with one first, three seconds, two thirds, three fourths and a sixth over both individual and team events.

Results were: Grade 2 dressage, 4th; Grade 3 dressage, 2nd; A-grade rider, 3rd and 4th (not a team event); B-grade team, 4th; B-grade rider, Madi Bryant 2nd in one event; C-grade team, 1st; C-grade rider, Amie Hourigan 3rd in one event; C-grade rider, Tori Glass 6th in one event and overall 2nd.
