A mountain climber who has tackled the earth’s highest peak will speak at Murray Dairy update evenings this month.

The annual Situation and Outlook 2017 will be hosted by Murray Dairy at three evening sessions across the region.

Farmers will be invited to compare their experience of dairy farming with possibly the more sedate climb of Mt Everest, with guest speaker Mark ‘Squiz’ Squirrell.

Also speaking will be Dairy Australia’s senior analyst John Droppert, offering the latest on the economic forecast and influences on the dairy industry from an export, domestic and farm gate perspective.

All sessions start at 7pm, with dinner included, on: Tuesday, June 20 at Moama Bowls Club; Wednesday, June 21 at Goulburn Valley Hotel, Shepparton; and Thursday, June 22 at Huon Hill Hotel, Wodonga.
