The Victorian Rural Women’s Network has returned, with the newly reinstated network connecting women across the state.
The reinvigorated network has already added more than 300 members, with women connected online via e-newsletters, a networking platform, social media and regular online updates.
Agriculture Minister Jaala Pulford said the network was a ‘‘much loved institution’’.
‘‘Rural and regional women from every corner of Victoria asked for the Rural Women’s Network to be re-established,’’ she said.
‘‘The Rural Women’s Network will help women in our rural areas get more involved in their community, the workforce and in leadership roles.’’
As well as events hosted by the network, the network offers mentoring, leadership opportunities and shares inspiring stories from women across the state.
