Tongala dairy farmer Andrew Tyler and Goulburn-Murray Water’s Mark Bailey have been announced as Murray Dairy’s new board members.
Mr Tyler will replace the outgoing Di Bowles as the farmer representative on the board.
With almost 30 years of dairy farming to draw on, Mr Tyler brings a working knowledge and an extensive experience base to Murray Dairy.
He has been a past director of the Australian Dairy Conference and is currently the deputy chair of the Australian Dairy Conference Board.
Mr Tyler is also a member of the Dairy Advocacy Reform Team and is chair of Rochester-Bamawm Dairy Business Network group.
Filling the industry representative position, vacated by Daryl Poole, is G-MW’s resources manager Mark Bailey.
Dr Bailey has more than 20 years experience within the dairy industry and brings with him a broad skills base particularly around technical analysis, project management, budget administration, and extensive technical and community liaison on policy and operational matters.
Murray Dairy congratulated both successful candidates.
