Australian farmers are connecting LIVE to launch the online sidekick for the Australian agricultural industry, on Thursday 9th November, 2017 at 1pm.
“Farming is complex,” says the Farm Table founder and young Riverina farmer, Airlie Trescowthick.
“I created the Farm Table so that farmers can access the best and most relevant information for their farming business, without any cost to them or huge investment of their time.”
“It’s just the beginning for farmers to harness the possibility of online collaboration,” says Airlie.
Farmers will join Live with an industry panel who will be sharing their views on what the best producers are doing on farm, and shed light on future farming risks and how to turn them into opportunities.
Speakers include Pip Job from Young Farmer Business project and John Harvey, AgriFutures Australia.
“Tuning in Live, farmers will find out how to get started on the Farm Table,” says Airlie.
“We will be explaining how to use the site—for farmers who want to keep learning to improve their farm—how to find the right information without any frustration and keep up with new technologies and innovations.”
Farmers are invited to join the launch by signing up at farmtable.com.au
