    On the mic . . . Auctioneer Nick Flanagan from Flanagan Marketing Services started Friday’s sale.

Shepparton Regional Saleyards hosted a complete dispersal sale of all spring-calved cows and heifers of the Invergordon master breeder stud of Robbie Malcolm and Allison McDonald, Pardee Holsteins, on Friday.

Also offered were 30 freshly calved young Holsteins from Lloyd and Cathy Chesworth’s Willette Holsteins stud in Tocumwal.

A complete sale clearance saw 99 head sell, grossing $278350 and averaging $2811.

‘‘It was an outstanding sale. There was strong demand and a lot of repeat buyers,’’ Flanagan Marketing Services owner Lawrie Flanagan said.

Pardee Holsteins saw 68 cattle sell for an average price of $3186, with the top priced cow, Pardee Gonzo Perfect 66-ET, selling for $4500.

J.J. Edwards, of Leitchville, purchased 35 head at an average of $2784, while Tatura’s Ross Easterbrook purchased two cows that sold for $4100 and $3800 respectively.
