Work is expected to start today on art work for the Goorambat grain silo.
Street artist Dvate is set to go to work on the giant canvas as part of the 2018 Wall to Wall Festival, today, Tuesday, February 27.
The silo continues the tradition of satellite sites including the uniting church in Goorambat painted by adnate last year, that will be open during the festival from 9-12 March.
Silo artist, Dvate, said the silos are such iconic structures and they lend themselves to this type of work. It is a huge honour to be given the opportunity to paint this type of wall, but there is a lot of pressure because your work is so visible from all around.”
