Work starts on second Goorambat silo

By Alana Christensen

With work on the barking owl complete at the Goorambat silo, street artist DVate has begun work on a second mural for the town's metal silo.

Initiated as part of the Wall to Wall Festival, the second mural, which is expected to depict a country scene with a ironbark tree, wheat fields and windmill set against a sunset, is likely to be completed when the festival concludes on March 12.

The Goorambat silo is the second silo in northern Victoria to be painted, with an artwork on the Tungamah silo painted last month.
