Devenish silo art takes shape

By Alana Christensen

A World War I nurse is beginning to take shape on the Devenish silo, as artist Cam Scale continues work on the town's community silo art project.

Painting begun on Wednesday and is expected to be completed prior to ANZAC Day, with the final silo to depict a nurse and a current day soldier in honour of the contribution of Devenish locals and surrounding towns to their country.

Devenish is the third northern Victorian town to undertake a silo art project after Tungamah and Goorambat completed artworks in February and March respectively.
