The department originally traveled to the region late last month but will return at the insistence of the community and Federal Agriculture Minister David Littleproud.
The consultation period for additional criteria for efficiency measures has been extended to Friday, November 23.
A meeting will be held at 12pm on Thursday, November 15 at the Swan Hill Resort and at the Rochester Golf Club at 12pm on Friday, November 16.
