Two two-month-old calves which sold for $5000 each were the highlight of the Goulburn Murray Jersey Breeders Club Diamond Jubilee Sale.
The sale, which was part of the 60th anniversary of the club, was held on Thursday and Dairy Livestock Services auctioneer Brian Leslie said it exceeded expectations.
‘‘There was some outstanding cattle with some tremendous genetics and it (the sale) exceeded expectations,’’ he said.
‘‘It was very successful. It went off really well.’’
