The Crawford family from Numbaa in NSW received plenty of recognition at this year’s International Dairy Week, taking home both the Grand Champion and Best Udder awards at the National Holstein Show.
Held at Tatura Park on Thursday, the family beat Elm Bank Holsteins from Crossley in Victoria for the top honour.
Mitch Holsteins and TPM-owned cow Mitch Chipper Beauty from Bamawm secured first place in the red and white competition, also taking home Best Udder.
This year marked the first time the red and white Holstein and black and white Holstein competition had been separated, with locals from around the region faring well throughout both competitions.
