A new conference exploring major issues for the fruit industry is being planned for Shepparton in August.
Fruit Growers Victoria is organising the two-day event, which will draw together 150 delegates.
The conference will feature speakers with topics being covered including integrated pest and disease management, latest international cold storage technology, Queensland fruit fly control techniques, pre-harvest 1-MCP trial results and a season in review forum with growers and industry representatives.
The second day is expected to include a visit to Goulburn Valley orchards and a packhouse.
The event is set for August 16 and 17.
