Beef, lamb, wool conference

Agriculture Victoria is holding a combined BetterBeef and BestWool/BestLamb Conference at the Bendigo Exhibition Centre at Bendigo Showgrounds on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 18 and 19.

The conference will present the latest and most up-to-date information, research and knowledge to the Victorian cattle and sheep industry.

The aim of this conference is for participants to better understand and implement the adoption of best practice management which will support growth to their businesses and the Victorian livestock industry.

The line-up of expert guest speakers over both days includes:

■Frank Archer of Landfall Angus, Tasmania;

■Dr Shane Thomson from Holbrook Veterinary Centre;

■Danny Thomas of CBRE Agribusiness;

■Producer Panels on quality assurance and benchmarking;

■Scott Nicholson, 2018 Nuffield Scholar, Stawell;

■Paul Kenyon, Massey University, New Zealand;

■Greg and Jo Bear, Canary Island, Victoria; and

■Cam Nicholson from Nicon Rural Services.
