HAY, WHERE’S MY FODDER: Farmers in drought are struggling to find adequate fodder for their livestock as hay is in high demand. With supply nearly exhausted, the price has taken a back seat despite prices starting to return to historical averages or better after a couple of lean years.

In previous programs, the Commonwealth paid irrigators for works which saved water, a share of which was returned to the Commonwealth.
