It was a fun-filled day in Katamatite at the weekend as the town put on a show for its annual Big Day Out in a Small Town.
Hundreds turned out for the event held at Katamatite football ground, which featured everything from vintage cars to artwork and yabby races.
With all funds raised being donated to drought relief, people from around the region were on hand to support the small town and farmers in northern Victoria, east Gippsland, NSW and Queensland battling difficult conditions.
The event also included some impressive artwork from 2017 Australian Chainsaw Carving Champion Rob Bast who spent the day creating a sculpture featuring Australian animals for the town.
Dozens of stall-holders were set up, and Melbourne-based artist Baden Johnson created a landscape mural of the town.
The event also displayed works from the School Mural Art Program which featured 24 murals from Katamatite, Katandra West, Tungamah, Yarrawonga, Katunga, Strathmerton, Cobram and Barooga primary schools.
