It will be another day of fun at the Dookie Show this year, with the small town putting on the popular event once again.

Now in its 135th year, the November 3 show will feature everything from dog jumping and ag tech to photography, dodgem cars and face painting.

Show-goers young and old can join in gumboot tossing, noughts and crosses, can bowling and egg and spoon races.

Dookie Agricultural and Pastoral Society president Peter Shields said it was would be a wonderful day for all.

‘‘We’re expecting perfect spring weather,’’ he said.

‘‘Entries have been humming along well, there’s been plenty of interest in the horse and dog competition. It’s open to everyone in the region.’’

Tickets are $20 for adults, and $5 for children six to 16 and pensioners.
