National ranch horse show comes to Elmore

Wyuna’s Bruno Robinson has come out on top at the recent Australian Ranch Horse Remuda Show.

Mr Robinson took out the Overall Grand Champion award at the show, which was held at the Elmore Equestrian Park from May 9 to 12.

The event, in its second year, attracted more than 100 horses and 180 riders and support crews.

About 100 spectators watched the four days of action, which included more than 500 classes.

The event attracted competitors from all over NSW and Victoria.

Other notable winners were:

■Melody Wuper, from Warrandyte: Ranchman Youth Versatility Award

■Danny Kopa, from Euroa: Ranchman Open Award.

■Dawn Woodley, from Bullioh: Ranchman Amateur Versatility Award.
