One year on from the launch of Tungamah's silo art, we're taking a look back at how the towering artwork came to be.
Launched on February 11, 2018, the artwork formed part of the town's Kickstart Plan to reinvigorate the town, with Tungamah becoming the first northern Victorian town to paint their silo.
Broome artist Sobrane spent several days in the town last February, painting three brolgas and a kookaburra on the towering structure.
Tungamah's silo has now been joined by three other towns, with Goorambat, Devenish and Rochester all painting their silos.
The town of Colbinabbin is expected to start painting their silo this year.
