Haeusler's ran a John Deere Drive Green Day at Kyabram in late August, where farmers showed the most interest in the 125hp tractors and the new CommandQuad transmission.
The day allowed the company to showcase its zero-turn and ride-on mower range, tractors with smaller horsepower and GPS technology, and round balers and feed-out machines for hay making.
"Basically, there was a lot of interest in the 125hp range tractor," Haeusler's' Shepparton sales representative Glenn Brookfield said.
"They were also interested in the new transmission with CommandQuad.
"CommandQuad transmission was set up with guidance so farmers could feel the auto steer and learn how to set the auto steer up."
Mr Brookfield said days like this allowed the company to target specific aspects of the market.
"The benefits we get out of these days is we find out what’s happening out there and it helps us promote parts of our equipment range.
"If croppers are saying there is lots of hay, we will promote our balers (and other hay equipment).
"We also promote the latest in guidance systems and explain the cost savings that these guidance systems can give them in day-to-day farming."
Haeusler's will host an equine field day in October and will attend the Euroa Show as well as hay days at different farms around the Goulburn Valley during the hay season.
