Shepparton Police allege the men, a 23-year-old Shepparton man and a 19-year-old Benalla man, stole about $10 000 worth of farming equipment and tools from a number of properties.
Detective Senior Constable Jacob Sinclair alleged the men attended an orchard on Barmah-Shepparton Rd where they stole power tools and farm equipment.
Police allege they then went to another orchard in Zeerust where they stole further power tools, before attending a school on Reedy Swamp Rd, from which they left empty-handed.
Sen Const Sinclair alleged the pair then committed another burglary at an orchard in Bunbartha where they stole office supplies, before attending a packing shed at a different orchard in the town.
Police said the pair were disturbed by employees working in the packing shed at the time, before the men left the scene in a white wagon.
Police allege the pair also committed a burglary at the Dookie Bowling Club over the weekend where they stole lawn bowls and cash.
Sen Const Sinclair said police found the vehicle at the Numurkah Golf Club on Sunday, with most of the stolen property located inside.
The men were arrested on Tuesday, February 4 in Benalla.
They were both remanded overnight before fronting the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, February 5.
The Shepparton man was charged with 25 offences, including burglary, theft, going equipped to steal, handling stolen goods, drug and driving matters.
The Benalla man faced 20 charges, including burglary, theft, going equipped to steal and handling stolen goods.
They will both face court again at a later date.
