A man who died at a dairy farm in Mooroopna on Friday afternoon has been identified as Jonathan Odgers, 23.

He is the son of Dairy Australia chairman and Bega director Jeff Odgers.

He was working at his family's 700-cow dairy in Lilford Rd, when it is believed he became trapped under machinery just before 4 pm.

He died at the scene, and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
