Numerous clearing sales have been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak, and Kevin Hicks Real Estate owner Kevin Hicks said he would have no income from clearing sale divisions until selling began online.
“We’re not at this stage allowed to have a public auction, but we may very well have online sales on our website,” the Shepparton agent said.
Mr Hicks said it was often a necessity for some farmers to clear their products, which can be difficult without a public auction.
Postponed clearing sales:
● Invergordon: Saturday, March 28, for D. and J. Brown.
● Wedderburn: Saturday, April 4, for AMH Recyclers.
