Outdoor expo heads to Shepparton

The latest range of caravans, campervans, camping gear and more will be on show at the Shepparton Great Outdoor and 4x4 Expo next month.

The expo, featuring local and interstate exhibitors will be at the Shepparton Showgrounds from 10am Friday, September 2 to 4pm Sunday, September 4.

“We’re very excited to be bringing The Great Outdoor and 4x4 Expo back to the Shepparton Showgrounds,” expo owner Rod Lockwood said.

“Shepparton is an ideal location for outdoor lifestyle events. The natural environment, climate and its residents’ love of the Aussie outdoor lifestyle means that the Great Outdoor and 4x4 Expo is perfectly suited to the location.

“On the back of well-received expos in Mornington, Ballarat and Mildura, we look forward to bringing the event back after three years away. We’re excited about what we have planned for the weekend and look forward to delivering a family-friendly expo over the upcoming Father’s Day weekend.”

As well as all things caravanning and camping, the expo will showcase home and vehicle accessories and a unique range of outdoor furniture and wares from boutique businesses.

Mr Lockwood said many exhibitors would be offering ‘show specials’ — discounted pricing for their products — and the event was suitable for experienced caravanners and campers looking to upgrade, or first-timers wanting to test the waters.

Ticket cost is $16 for adults and $13 for concessions. Entry for under-16s is free. Tickets are only available at the gate, with cash and EFTPOS available.

Car parking on site is free.

Terms and Conditions

1. Instructions on how to enter and prize information form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in any competition is deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. The promoter is McPherson Newspapers Pty Ltd (ABN 89 004 552 794) of 7940 Goulburn Valley Hwy, Shepparton VIC 3630 (Promoter).

3. The prizes are guest passes to The Great Outdoor and 4x4 Expo in Shepparton.

4. Entry is open to residents over the age of 18.

5. Employees of any entity related to McPherson Newspapers Pty Ltd and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the competition.

6. Competition commences on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 and closes at 12pm Tuesday, August 23, 2022. The winners will be notified in a reply to their comment on The Great Outdoor 4x4 Expo competition Facebook post by the Shepparton News.

7. All entries will be reviewed by the editorial department at the Shepparton News. The editorial department’s two favourite answers will each win two guest passes.

8. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prizes
