The podcast’s first episode is now available on the The Riverine Herald website. All you need to do is click on the ‘podcast’ section and it will take you to our first episode, which also features Riv editor Rohan Aldous.
The podcast has been some time in the making and, as you will hear, there is plenty of information and results intermittently spaced between good-natured banter.
Together with INTERSPORT Echuca, the first edition of the podcast is a 45-minute exposé on cricket, tennis, bowls, horse racing and world sport.
The GAME ON podcast will be your home of all things sport in the Echuca-Moama region and beyond.
Our weekly episodes will discuss the sports pertinent to that time of the year, with the next couple specifically focussing on the summer sports finals.
The podcast is being perfected in preparation for a big winter of football, netball, soccer and all our other sports, which will be under way in another month or so.
New editions of the podcast will be available on the website every Thursday.
Huntly is well known in Echuca cricket circles and may even pull on the green and white of Echuca Football Netball Club.
Gibson, who has lived and attended college in the United States, will play soccer for the Border Raiders this season. He is more of a world sports fan and adds some expansive knowledge of American sport, the English Premier League and most other international sports competitions.
