Up to 40 people, to be drawn from G-MW’s diverse customer base, will take part in a three-day forum called Beneath the Waterline.
They will have direct input in areas ranging from pricing, service standards and equity for the organisation from 2020 to 2024.
‘‘We have held months of consultation and engaged in hundreds of conversations to help us develop our pricing submission for the next four years,’’ G-MW managing director Charmaine Quick said.
‘‘We are well aware this next pricing submission is being developed at the same time as we are managing challenges on climate, increased competition for water and a changing customer base.
‘‘So in recent months we have been collaborating with you – our customers – like never before, with surveys, drop-in sessions, summit meetings and gathering extensive and valuable feedback from our water services committees and pricing and tariff working groups.’’
Ms Quick said the three-day forum would take this engagement a step further, with G-MW and industry experts presenting information and views on key subject areas.
‘‘The work will generate proposals for the G-MW board, along with those derived from other customer engagement activities.
‘‘The board will then make decisions for the pricing submission, based on these ideas and feedback.’’
Beneath the Waterline will be held on Sunday, August 4; Friday, August 9; and Saturday, August 10 at the Mercure Port of Echuca from 9am to 5pm each day.
Expressions of interest for the forum will close on Wednesday, July 24 and participants will need to be available for all three days.
