The August 2018 drop bull, Reiland Port Louis P410, will be offered as Lot 3 in the stud’s autumn bull sale on April 22 at Killimicat Station, Tumut.
The sale will be interfaced with AuctionsPlus to enable buyers to bid from the comfort of their own home.
Reiland principals the Lucas family are generously donating 10 per cent of the bull’s price to Can Assist, which distributes assistance locally for cancer patients.
Reiland Angus will offer 65 bulls, providing buyers with the opportunity to assess the herd’s balanced selection program first-hand.
Co-principal Mark Lucas said the sale bulls had been rigorously assessed for growth, type, soundness and temperament.
With regard to COVID-19, Mr Lucas said all government guidelines would be followed and increased hygiene measures as recommended would be in place.
“Additionally, short videos are being initiated to allow viewing on the internet,” he said.
Purchasers at this year’s autumn sale affected by the summer's bushfires will go into a draw for a three-night stay on the NSW south coast (to be taken when safe to do so) courtesy of Reiland Angus.
The sale will be held on Wednesday, April 22 at Killimicat Station, Tumut. The sale will begin at 1 pm.
