We had 236 wonderful guests in attendance, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter and good vibes all morning long.
There were lucky ticket draws, spot prizes, raffles and exciting auctions throughout the event.
A huge shout-out to our auctioneer, Shane, and his trusty offsider, Craig — who truly brought the energy and made the auctions a highlight of the day.
The footy jumpers were especially popular, sparking plenty of excitement!
By the end of the morning, we were thrilled to announce that an incredible $10,000 would be donated to Cancer Council.
A massive thank you to our generous local businesses for their donations, and of course, to all of our guests who so kindly supported the cause by purchasing raffle tickets and bidding in the auctions.
Together, we made a huge impact.
Cancer Council is encouraging Australians to take part in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea this May to raise funds for cancer research and support.
Since 1993, the event has raised over $200 million. With one Australian diagnosed every five minutes, this year’s goal is $16 million.
The official date is Thursday, May 22, but events can be held throughout May and June.
