Hundreds flocked to Wunghnu at the weekend for the town’s annual Vintage Rally and Tractor Pull.

Those who headed to the Wunghnu Recreation Reserve were treated to displays of stationary engines and tractors, as well as tractor pulling competitions.
The Federation picnic car display was also held on Sunday, attracting plenty of people, while band The Splinters kept the crowd entertained on Saturday afternoon and into the night.

About 12 tractors and two four-wheel drives also took part in the Tractor Trek on Saturday morning where they went to look at a vintage collection at Bunbartha, before heading to Loch Garry for a look around.
Rally co-ordinator Lloyd Healey said entries in the stationary engine, static tractors and car displays were up on previous years.
However, the numbers of tractors involved in the tractor pull were down.

Celebrating its 38th year, the event run by the Goulburn Valley Vintage Tractor and Farm Machinery Club had something for everyone.
The Moira Miniature Rail ran train rides throughout the day, which Mr Healey said was a highlight for the children who attended.
A woodworker from GV Woodworkers also had a display there.

Mr Healey said he was pleased with this year’s event which ran on both Saturday and Sunday.
“It went very well,” he said.
“It was a great day.
“It was just disappointing we didn’t have enough tractors for it.”
