Dairy Australia will also hold its annual general meeting as part of the day.
The AGM is an opportunity for dairy farmers to vote on director elections. There will also be an update on Dairy Australia’s investments in services to benefit and advance the industry.
The forum features sessions throughout the afternoon and evening, including a panel discussion on how dairy farmers have adapted their feedbase and risk management strategies to be more resilient in a changing climate.
Dairy farmers from the Murray region — including Jacob Gardiner, Deanne Hore (Leitchville) and Dustin Kemp (Lockington) — will share their experience.
Investing in the next generation of farmers will be the focus for dinner.
A panel of young farmers from Kiewa Valley, Katandra West, Rochester and Tatura will discuss their involvement in a recent leadership development program.
The farmer forum will be held at Moama RSL, 56 Merool Rd, Moama, NSW.
Farmers are invited to attend in person or participate online.
There is no cost to attend the forum, but registration is required by November 20 for catering purposes.
