ON ANZAC DAY, WE COMMEMORATE ALL AUSTRALIANS AND NEW ZEALANDERS WHO MADE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE IN MILITARY OPERATIONS, WHILE HONOURING ALL WHO HAVE SERVED OUR NATIONS.

Dawn services, commemorative ceremonies, and marches will be conducted throughout the Campaspe and Murray River Council regions on this solemn national day of remembrance.

Sunday, April 19

Stanhope RSL Commemorative Service to be held at the Stanhope Cenotaph at McEwan Place, from 2pm to 2:30pm. Followed by a second service with a guest speaker and afternoon tea at Stanhope Community Hall from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.

Friday, April 24

Nanneella Dusk Service — Nanneella Soldiers Memorial Hall - 5.45pm to 6.30pm.

Echuca All Night Vigil — Echuca Memorial – 6pm; 6am on Friday, April 25.

Saturday, April 25

Barham Dawn Service — Barham Cenotaph at 6am, followed by a breakfast at cluBarham.

Barham Commemorative Service and March — from Koondrook RSL at 11am

Colbinabbin Memorial Service — Colbinabbin Memorial Hall. Assemble at 8:50am, service from 9am to 10am.

Corop Commemorative Service — Outside Corop Community Centre, 9.30am to 10.30am.

Echuca RSL Dawn Service — Echuca Memorial, 5:45am-6:15am.

Echuca RSL March and Service — Assembly point for march is the pedestrian crossing in Hare St at 10.30am. March commences at 10.45am. Echuca Service will be held at the Memorial at 11am.

Girgarre RSL Dawn Service and flag-raising ceremony at Girgarre Cenotaph. Assemble at 5:45am for a 5:50am service. Followed by Gunfire Breakfast at the Hall.

Gunbower Commemorative Service — Gunbower RSL Hall, assemble at 9:50am for service from 10am to 11am.

Kyabram March & Commemorative Service — Assembly point for the march is Memorial Park at 9.45am. March commences at 9.55am. Service at Memorial Gardens commences at 10am.

Lockington March & Commemoration Service — Assembly point at Lions Apex Park at 8.30am, march commences at 8:45am. Service at Lockington Community Hall commences at 9am.

Mathoura Dawn Service — Mathoura Cenotaph, Soldier’s Memorial Gardens at 6am, followed by a Gunfire Breakfast.

Mathoura March & Commemorative Service — Shire Hall in Mathoura at 11am, afterwards a march to the Soldiers Memorial Gardens for a wreath-laying ceremony.

Moama Dawn Service — Congregate for 6am Dawn Service at Moama Cenotaph. Followed by Gunfire Breakfast at Moama RSL, Merool Rd, Moama.

Moama March & Commemorative Service — Congregate from 8.30am at Echuca St Car Park for 8.40am step-off to march to Moama Cenotaph followed by 9am Commemorative Service at Cenotaph.

Moulamein March & Service — 9.45am march, followed by 10am commemorative service at The Triangle Park

Piangil and Tooleybuc Commemorative Service at Piangil Community Hall at 9.30am

Rochester Dawn Service & Gunfire Breakfast — Rochester Cemetery 5:45am-7:30am. Rochester Lions Club will provide a Gunfire Breakfast following the Dawn Service. $5 donation per person.

Rochester Commemorative March & Service — Assembly point for the march is opposite Rochester Shire Hall at 10.30am. March commences at 10.45am. Service to be held at Rochester RSL Memorial Garden at 11am.

Rushworth Dawn Service to be held at War Memorial, High St median strip, from 5:45am to 6:30am.

Rushworth RSL Commemorative Service – Held at the War Memorial, High St median strip (gather 9.50am) from 10am to 10:30am.

Tongala RSL Dawn Service & Breakfast – Assembly time 6am at IGA Car Park, ready for 6.15am step-off to March to RSL Hall to congregate for 6.30am Dawn Service. Breakfast to follow.

Torrumbarry Dawn Service & Breakfast — Held at the Torrumbarry Hall at 6am. Followed by a Gunfire Breakfast. Breakfast is provided by the Torrumbarry Community Club.

Wakool March & Commemorative Service — Wakool Memorial Hall at 3pm, followed by a march to the Wakool Cenotaph for a short wreath-laying ceremony
