The event will be held at Jack Eddy Oval on Perricoota Rd in Moama, attracting entrants from across Australia.
Rich River Rod and Custom Club president Daniel Arnold said the event, held every two years in even years, maintained strict entry requirements.
“It is a chrome bumper event, so anything with a chrome bumper is welcome or older,” he said.
“Generally, it is vehicles that are pre-1978.”
The weekend kicks off on Friday at 5pm with an entrants-only meet-and-greet barbecue featuring live music.
Saturday begins with an entrants’ breakfast before an observation run to Cohuna.
“We like to share around the run and travel to the four corners of our beautiful area,” Daniel said.
“We are hoping to get all the entrants to participate, group up and come along.”
Saturday afternoon offers free time to explore Echuca-Moama attractions, with entrants encouraged to cruise High St among eateries and hotels.
Sunday features the Chrome Bumper Family Show and Shine starting at 9am, concluding at 3pm.
“Sunday, we are going to have our family Show ‘n Shine at Jack Eddy oval,” Daniel said.
“Previously, we have had 300-plus chrome bumper entrants, but I reckon we might have a little bit more.”
The event includes loads of trade stands, live music from Scotty Baker and Rocker Cover Racing, camel and pony rides, face painting for children 12 and under, and hundreds of hot rods and custom cars.
Awards include a straight eight judged by club members, with presentations at 12:30pm.
A new junior rod category welcomes participants under 25.
