The event offers art lovers the opportunity to step inside the creative spaces of local artists throughout the Shire of Campaspe.
The trail offers a distinctive experience, allowing visitors to interact directly with artists, watch them at work, and learn about their creative methods.
Art enthusiasts can purchase works directly from the artists’ studios at prices below standard gallery rates.
The success of the inaugural event in 2025 drew visitors from 97 different postcodes.
More than 25 artists are expected to open studios in every part of Campaspe Shire in 2026.
Three community art spaces may open as part of the Campaspe Artists Studio Trail for artists who practise their art at home and don’t have a publicly accessible studio.
The Kyabram Town Hall Gallery, the Rushworth Art Depot and the Foundry Arts Space in Echuca were all part of the trail in 2025, and are hoping to return in 2026.
Trail maps and detailed artist information will be accessible through the event website, visitor information centres and shire libraries.
