Despite other coronavirus restrictions easing across Victoria, the general public is still not allowed to attend livestock sales at either the Shepparton or Euroa saleyards.
Strathbogie Shire Mayor Amanda McLaren said while restrictions were in place, the general public could watch the sales at Euroa online through AgriNous.
“As we continue to respond to the coronavirus pandemic we are continually updating and changing access to all kinds of council infrastructure — this includes public access to the saleyards,” Cr McLaren said.
“We encourage people to visit our website or follow Strathbogie Shire Council on social media to continue to be updated.”
Greater Shepparton City Council's director of infrastructure Phil Hoare said no changes had been made at Shepparton Regional Saleyards either and council would have to follow a certain process before restrictions could be lifted.
