A large crowd attended the free opening party on July 31, enjoying wine, nibbles and the chance to explore a diverse collection of works.
The exhibition pairs original photographs from the Camera Club with artistic interpretations created by ERAS members, resulting in a rich display of mediums, styles and perspectives.
ERAS president Ginny Reid said the opening night was a resounding success.
“It was a fantastic night, everyone enjoyed themselves,” she said.
“We drew a strong crowd, and managed to sell six artworks.
“The gift shop was also very successful.”
The Art In Focus exhibition will remain on display at the Edward River Art Society Gallery until August 29, giving visitors plenty of time to explore the collection and support local artists.
