This year’s fundraiser will be on Thursday, April 2 from 12pm to 4pm.
Plans are already well underway with a barbecue being provided by STAND initiative, Odesi Collective providing delicious coffee from 9am and live music.
For the kids, there will be face painting, mermaid hair braids by Murray Mermaids, henna tattoos and a jumping castle by Ultimate Country Kids Party Hire.
There will be a raffle running with some amazing prizes donated by local businesses. Donations are being accepted with all funds raised going to the Good Friday Appeal.

Tocumwal Optimists have started 2026 full of enthusiasm and optimism.
With some changes to the executive and a group of willing volunteers, the Optimists are looking forward to continuing to provide assistance to local community organisations.
The group’s incoming president is Kathy Haigh, while Debbie Williamson has accepted the role of secretary, and Anne Braybon continues as treasurer.
The Tocumwal Optimists thank the community for its past support and would appreciate continuing support this year.
On the social scene, the Optimists have already participated this year in two outings to the Cobram Cinema to see ‘Song Sung Blue’ and ‘Elvis in Concert’.
If you are interested in joining a proactive club offering friendship, fun and fundraising then the Optimists may be the club for you.

The Tocumwal Girls Shed will be selling raffle tickets at this weekend’s Tocumwal Foreshore Market, with the prize being a beautifully finished queen-sized quilt.
The stunning quilt was created by members of the Tocumwal Girls Shed, with the quilting completed by Christine Good of Lavender Pink Quilting.
Raffle tickets will be available at the Tocumwal Girls Shed site on Saturday priced at three for $5.
Proceeds from the raffle will go towards helping fill the bags the group has made for victims of domestic violence.
The initiative forms part of Tocumwal Rotary’s ongoing push to eliminate domestic violence within the community.
Members of the Tocumwal Girls Shed are proud to use their skills to support those meaningful project.

This year’s World Day of Prayer is being held at the Tocumwal Uniting Church, Morris St, Tocumwal on Friday, March 6 at 10am.
The 2026 country being featured is Nigeria.
Everyone is welcome to come along and learn a little about Nigeria with the event being followed by morning tea.
