Celebrating as a community

Locals braved the heat on Sunday afternoon to connect and celebrate at the Deniliquin Mental Health Awareness event in the Deniliquin Waring Gardens on Sunday.

The end of a 12 month program based on the 5 Ways to Wellbeing, and funded by the government, the event allowed people to come together for an afternoon of crafts, learning and festive community spirit.

Coordinator and MHAG member Lourene Liebenberg said it was an amazing success, and “a lot of fun”.
