While the club’s new car park is not yet complete, enough has been done for it to be opened to traffic from today.
And it’s come just in time, with the club starting its run of Christmas and summer entertainment this Friday night with the Bon Jovi Forever tribute act.
This will be followed by the club’s now annual Christmas luncheon on Sunday.
Club CEO David Hart said the car park - which is yet to receive its asphalt layer - would remain open throughout the school holiday period.
“We’ll hand the construction site back to the contractors in late January, after which the car park will be completed and re-opened again by mid-February,” Mr Hart said.
“The landscaping will follow in late February, and hopefully be complete in March.
“We originally thought this project would be finished in October, but there have been some delays due to planning portal issues, rain delays and then the floods.
“We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience the work has caused our members and guests, especially the elderly and disabled.”
Doors to the Bon Jovi Forever evening open at 7pm this Friday.
It is an all ages event, although children must be accompanied by an adult.
Bon Jovi Forever offers you the ultimate Bon Jovi experience with a high energy and truly passionate delivery of all of Bon Jovi’s powerhouse hits and obscure classics.
The show leaves even the diehard fans wanting more.
With anthems such as Living on a Prayer, Always, Bed Of Roses, You Give Love a Bad Name and It’s My Life - to name a few - there is enough material in the Bon Jovi repertoire to provide fans with a three hour concert.
Head back to the club on Christmas Day for a festive meal, with a massive range of food, soups, hot dishes, cold dishes, salads, desserts, cheese and biscuit platters on offer.
Doors open at 11.45am, with the buffet lunch available from noon to 2pm.
The cost is $60 for adults, $30 for kids 8-15 and $15 for kids 3-8. Kids under three eat free.
Tickets must be pre-purchased from reception and paid at time of booking.
