The Shepparton Albanian Moslem Society has announced the official opening of its new outdoor covered shelter will be held on Saturday, February 22.

This state-of-the-art facility provides a comfortable and functional space for various community events, enhancing the society’s commitment to serving residents.

By offering protection from the elements, the covered shelter ensures that gatherings, cultural celebrations and social events can occur year-round.

The project garnered significant backing from the Multicultural Community Infrastructure Fund, highlighting the value placed on grassroots community initiatives.

The grand opening will bring together locals and dignitaries alike, celebrating a landmark achievement for the Shepparton Albanian Society, which has a rich history of promoting community spirit and preserving Albanian heritage.

The Shepparton Albanian Moslem Society’s outdoor covered shelter will officially open on Saturday, February 22, at 9.30am for a 10am start at the Shepparton Albanian Mosque Complex, 8 Acacia St, Shepparton.
