Fire breaks out near Rochester

At about 4.51pm, the fire was estimated to be about 300m in length, moving in a westerly direction towards Rochester.

There are currently nine vehicles and an aircraft on site working to contain the blaze.

Smoke will be visible from nearby communities and roads.
