From above, the scale of the 43-hectare GV Link Enterprise Park - Stage One site tells a story of growth and long-term opportunity for the Goulburn Valley. On the ground, that vision is being delivered by local people through practical civil infrastructure that is shaping the region’s economic future.

Civil contractor BMD is delivering the first stage of GV Link Enterprise Park for Greater Shepparton City Council.
The project will unlock critical transport and freight logistics infrastructure and create new industrial land to support manufacturing, investment, jobs and the growth of existing local businesses.
The subdivision is taking shape, with works on the major roundabout continuing and service utilities soon to be connected to the Mooroopna township.
Stage one of construction involves:
A four-lot industrial subdivision across the site – the equivalent size of 28 MCG playing fields;
Upgrade to a roundabout at the intersection of Toolamba Rd and Simson Rd; and
Utility service connections to Mooroopna, including gas, sewerage, water and NBN.

Not far from GV Link, BMD recently delivered the $10.5 million expansion of the Arcadia Native Fish Hatchery, south of Shepparton.
The upgrade included the construction of 100 new production ponds and associated infrastructure, significantly increasing the facility’s production capacity to meet growing demand for recreational fish stocking across Victoria.
BMD urban regional operations manager Greg Stevens said both projects reflected the company’s long-term commitment to the region and its people.
“The fish hatchery expansion and the early works at GV Link are about setting up the Goulburn Valley for the future. These projects deliver real, practical benefits, from supporting environmental outcomes to creating the infrastructure that unlocks economic opportunities.

“As a business, we believe in growing where we work. By employing local people and engaging regional suppliers, we’re helping build capability that stays in the Goulburn Valley,” Mr Stevens said.
BMD draws on more than 45 years’ experience as a specialist civil contractor delivering projects across regional Australia.
That expertise is now firmly embedded in northern Victoria and southern NSW, with a strong focus on the Goulburn and Murray valleys and key sectors, including water and wastewater, transport, renewable energy and land development.
With a continued focus on regional investment, BMD is moving into a new office on the corner of Wyndham and Sobraon Sts in Shepparton, strengthening its local presence. The company continues to invest in local people, recently employing engineers and undergraduate engineers from the region.
Through GV Link and ongoing regional projects, BMD is building infrastructure and careers that will power the Goulburn Valley’s future.
Work is continuing on the 43-hectare GV Link Enterprise Park project.
