Kids beat the heat with sandcastle crafting

Three children beat the heat on Tuesday by attending a crafting session at Stanhope library.

Participants let their creativity run wild as they constructed sandcastles and decorated them using seashells and coloured markers.

The sandcastles were made from recycled materials, including two-litre ice-cream containers.

The activity was put together with the aim for children to participate and keep engaged over the summer school holidays.
