Race five of the six race card, McVicar put forward Boy From Tennessee and Gobbo’s Mate.
They will be jockeyed by John Keating and Cassiby Hill respectively.
His were among 24 nominated for the $22,000 race, a final 13 selected to enter the starting gates.
McVicar will also start Winter Hail in race two, Blessing Seaon in race three and Four Esses for race six.
Another local trainer, Shilleagh MeyerVale, will start in race one with Bradley Vale on board.
The Jerilderie Gold Cup race day is set to deliver another big day of country racing, fashion and community spirit.
Gates open at 11.30am, with racing from 1.25pm.
Alongside a full card of racing, the popular AGnVET Fashions on the Field competition will again highlight race-day style, with categories including Lady of the Day, Man of the Track, Local Lady of the Day, Race Stopping Millinery and Couple of the Day.
Families have not been forgotten, with Pether Ag sponsoring the Kids Entertainment Area.
Skillzone will provide activities throughout the day, giving younger racegoers plenty to enjoy.
The festivities begin tonight with the Jerilderie Race Club's annual 100 Club Draw at the Jerilderie Sports Club from 7pm.
The club's major fundraiser features multiple prize draws, culminating in a $2000 jackpot for the holder of the final ticket drawn.
Entry to the racecourse of Saturday is $25 for adults, and under 17s get in free.
