Club Mulwala, Mulwala Water Ski Club and Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort have become the inaugural Next Gen Partners of Yarrawonga Mulwala Tourism & Business (YMTB).
YMTB chief executive Nathan Bibby said the clubs were major contributors to the local economy, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year while supporting employment and community development.
He said their decision to join the partnership demonstrated strong regional leadership and confidence in YMTB’s vision for the future.
“Their investment represents more than financial support for YMTB; it reflects a collective belief in a new approach to regional development,” Mr Bibby said.
The approach brings tourism, business, events, community initiatives and advocacy together under a shared regional strategy.
YMTB is continuing its transition into the region’s destination management organisation, with a focus on increasing visitation and visitor spending, supporting local businesses and attracting investment.
Its priorities also include developing new opportunities, strengthening the Yarrawonga Mulwala destination brand and supporting the region’s long-term prosperity.
“This is a defining moment for Yarrawonga Mulwala Tourism & Business and for our region,” Mr Bibby said.
“The commitment shown by Club Mulwala, Mulwala Water Ski Club and Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort demonstrates a shared belief that we can achieve more when we work together.
“We are incredibly grateful for their leadership and confidence in the future of YMTB.”
Mr Bibby said the partnership would help ensure Yarrawonga Mulwala was well positioned to take advantage of future opportunities as it continued to grow as a leading Australian regional destination.
