Heavy rainfall last week has caused widespread impacts across the region with flooding, road damage, fallen trees and road closures.
Indigo Shire’s operations crews have been working hard to respond, carrying out tree removals, repairing and grading road surfaces where possible, assessing drainage issues and managing closures to keep the community safe.
While progress has been made, some roads remain closed and in some locations, repairs cannot begin until floodwaters recede and areas have had time to dry out.
Kilborn Road is closed between Savage Road, Rutherglen and Nashs Road due to flood.
Residents are asked to remain cautious around potentially fragile landscapes, respect road closures and report any damage or hazards.
Please obey the road closure signs and never drive through floodwater.
