For 149 years, the show has been a platform for local producers to measure their stock, skills and produce against their peers.
This year will be no different, with cattle, sheep and poultry sheds expected to be packed as breeders put forward their best animals.

A new addition to the show is the dog high jump, where three classes of dogs (under 50cm, under 60cm and over 60cm) compete.
