The teams were very creative with their names, with some including Conspiracy Theorists, Crazy Clarkes and Co, The Bailiffs, The Lion Kings, Front and Centre, and No Idea.
Between trivia rounds there were challenges - building a tower from paper cups, (tallest tower wins), blowing up a balloon with a pump (largest balloon wins after 30 seconds), and a treasure hunt.
There was a silent auction for three items - a Sophie Chauncy painting, a Cinch book binder and a Robo-Dou Shin Getter metallic edition – with the first two being sold.
The Bailiffs was the winning team, and the wooden spoon (or lollipops) went to SLAY.
Thank you to the families who participated – it was good to see so many parents and children working together - and thanks to the CEF CDP committee for the hard work, in particular to Jane Strachan who brought it all together.
Also thanks to Pia and Regan for helping with set up, Kayne and Rhys for assisting on the door and Coleambally Irrigation for its sponsorship.
Funds raised will be used for education grants.
