Upcoming speed reduction and traffic changes

Some commuters will be affected in the coming months as there will be traffic management and temporary speed reductions on Toolamba Rd, between Simson Rd and the Midland Highway, Mooroopna.

As part of the GV Link Enterprise Project, service installation works will take place from Monday, January 12 to Friday, March 27 between 7am and 7pm, weather permitting.

During this period, the road will be under traffic management, including reduced speed limits and localised lane diversions to ensure the safe operation of plant and machinery.

Access to nearby businesses and properties will be maintained throughout the works.

On January 12, Rumbalara Rd will be reduced to one lane at its intersection with Toolamba Rd.

The road will remain open to local traffic.

Motorists are asked to remain alert to changed traffic conditions and exercise additional caution when travelling in the area.

Council said it thanked residents for their patience and co-operation while these essential works were completed.
